  23. I don't like to speak poorly of a company, but I have had very bad luck 
  24. with Zypcom.  The tech support is great, Scott and the others will bend 
  25. over backwards to help, but the modems are second rate in my mind.
  26. We purchased about 6 racks of the Z34-RX, Zypcom's rack mount model, and 
  27. had nothing but trouble.  They were supposed to be flash upgradable, but 
  28. they hadn't quite got that worked out yet, so when we uncovered a serious 
  29. flaw, we had to replace two chips per modem.  
  30. Even after the upgrade the same problem continued to reappear, and we 
  31. couldn't get a date when then next fix would be out.  
  32. Zypcom may be fine if you are just going to use it for a desktop modem, 
  33. but I would not recommend it for a workhorse in an ISP setting.
  34. I hope that Zypcom gets it together so that I can do something with the 
  35. racks under my desk, but until then, look around.
